Statement of Purpose
Jazz Northern Colorado’s mission is to support live jazz and its musicians in the region. The aim of JazzNoCo is to encourage the growth of jazz in the area, thus providing new opportunities for musicians. Although jazz can never be completely defined, this site is focused on the forms commonly referred to as, but not limited to: Main Stream, Straight-Ahead, Hard Bop, Bebop, Standards, Swing, Big Band, Dixie, Latin and Brazilian. JazzNoCo is for professional jazz musicians and bands, which are active and available to play for the general public.
